Why do I love this song?

You could dub this over any scene from a classic John Hughes movie and it would fit. It's sooooo eighties!

It kind of sounds like Tom Petty singing 'Rush Hour' by Jane Wiedlin.

It's catchy without being too repetitive. It's short enough to play two or three times in a row.

It's proper synth-rock-power pop! The likes of which we haven't seen since... um... the last Killers album.

I like the lead singer's hair.
