Beyonce..The Hardest Working Woman in Show Business? WTF?!?

Seriously, the public is really since 2003, been trying to force-feed this kind of, "Beyonce is an icon" load of crap. She is all about gimmicks, sex, raunchy videos and trying way too hard.

Watching her on the VMAs..she looks like a stripper. (Her background dancers are hotter then her though) Haha.

Back to my question Neyo with his sillyness, "The hardest working woman in show business." Next year, will she be, "The Queen of Pop?"

I guess what I want to know is, WHY IS THE MEDIA on the band-wagon of making Beyonce an icon?

She may be a good dancer, and an okay singer, but she tries way too hard.
When will the media/mtv/and all the drones that watch her get the clue?

Everytime I watch her..I keep waiting for her to explode like the robot

I wouldn't be surprised if it was all planned by her pops to turn Sasha Fierce into Saint Fierce. I don't trust MTV.

Well that is most certaintly possible. hmmm

Come to think about it, we never really SAW Kanye actually walk on the stage. Taylor was talking, the camera goes to the audience and then back to the stage where Kanye has already appeared. That made me for a second think that this was something planned, but then I let it go. But now that you bring this up, its really suspect. How he just pop up on stage like that??? Could he been backstage, and then came on stage for his queue? hmmm Very suspect.

Well I have to grind my teeth to say it, but she is hard working. Look at her performances, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She doesn't miss a beat. What female performer out here in 2009 can you say that about besides her?

Now as far as her being called the "Queen of Pop"? Well let's not get ahead of ourselves. That's pushing it. Even MJ had put in long hard years of work FIRST before he earned his "King of Pop" title. She's been in for 10 right? I'll give her 5 or 10 more before she has earned that title.

I have to admit from the new artists out these days...I give it to her on her work ethic from phones, videos, albums, groups, clothing, concerts she make sure she doesnt miss a beat. Even though her father is the one pushing her to her max I think she will break free one day..one day she will...by the time she 30 at least. She first was in the scene in 1996 I believe...that give her 13 years nod

i'm about sick of this "she tries too hard" bullshit.

you've got 17,000 contemporary entertainers and performers and singers and whatever out there not trying hard enough, barely putting any effort or creativity into their carrer and their craft and someone comes along and shows how a career in pop should be done, gives the world something to talk about, reminding us of the level of celebrity and freshness and drive that WE got to witness when we were growing up with Prince, Michael, Madonna, Janet and any number of pop stars, and people do nothing but dog her and say she tries to hard.

well good for her. it's about god damn time somebody tried, even if they're trying "too hard" for some.

Beyonce always looks like a stripper. And Beyonce is NOT the hardest working woman in show business. Many show biz people work hard. And Beyonce is NOT an Icon and will never be, in my opinion.

Beyonce is not a dancer, in my opinion. I guess only if people consider strippers dancers, and she is an okay singer. And I agree that she tries too hard. She is very overrated.

I agree Layzie.

I think this was planned from the start. And I think Beyonce KNEW that Kanye was going to do that outburst. I think Kanye planned to be the fall guy and then Beyonce would look good (or like the HERO) in the end. I notice some people have been saying they have "new respect" for Beyonce for what she did for Taylor. I think this was the goal in the first place: For people to have new respect for Beyonce.

And also to steal the spotlight from Janet's tribute to Michael.

Actually, "No,no,no" came out with Destiny's Child in '97. And when I say 2009 I'm talking about she's on top right now. Who, besides her, that is hot right now can work hard to put in the hours to hold a note while she's dancing all over the place right now?

I hear you, I'm suspect about the plot thing myself, but I don't think that it was to make Beyonce shine, it was to make MTV shine. The VMAS are always know for its craziness that some celebrity will do on the show. So if they had a show and there was no drama, then guess what, nobody will be talking about the next day. So they kick up some money to Kanye to have him act like an ass, cuz nobody does it better than him, to create some drama for the media and everybody to be talking about at work the next morning.

who works harder than Beyonce right now?
it ain't Ciara, Ashanti, Rihanna, or none of these little girls.

Bey has had that work ethic instilled in her since she was very young (longer than 11 years, because she did that Gryl Time thing and all).

I admire her work hustle! Aaliyah also had that type of drive. I love to see people do the damn job. Tina Turner and Madonna too. I can't knock nobody for working hard!

And no I am no Beyonce stan. I wish she would take a damn break and begone for a minute...and als take time to buy clothes to cover her coochie and ass.

I'm not really a Beyonce fan but there's no denying that she is a hard worker. She releases a new CD every other year, and always does a tour for each one.I remember, she even did a final tour with Destiny's Child, after she had already done her first solo tour. You can't say she is lazy. She records music and stands behind it,promoting the hell out of it with videos for every song, lol.

She got there because of getting with Jay Z and shaking azz. Also, Beyonce admitted herself that when she was with Destiny's Child that they never would have sold as many records without the controversy and drama of the group member changes. So getting with Jay Z, taking off her clothes and shaking her azz and the group member changes got her where she has gotten.
