cool review... Electric Circus has been in my player for weeks now...it really is a cool psychadelic trip... The track "Between Me You and Liberation" is probably the first hip-hop track that covers homosexuality in a positive light...basically Common finds out his friend is gay and although he's upset at first he realizes he still loves his friend...very cool IMO... And of course the fact that Prince and Erykah are in the record is very cool... The final track, HEAVEN SOMEWHERE, is so awesome, with Bilal, Erykah, Jill Scott and Mary J. singing...too cool... "...literal people are scary, man literal people scare me out there trying to rid the world of its poetry while getting it wrong fundamentally down at the church of "look, it says right here, see!" - ani difranco

Electric Circus was my favorite rap album of 2002, fighting my 2nd in lead "Under Constuction" by Missy Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
