Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and Martha Reeves also had input in re-arranging harmonies, vocals and musicianship too. It's just the material that the Jackson 5 were uncomfortable with over time.

They just aired the Soul Train episode from 1971 on Centric (formerly BETJ) with the J5 and Jermaine. It was interesting to hear their interview with Don and saying how they felt about their current project. Also on Randy coming into the group. It airs again Friday at 10am.

I think once CENTRIC takes off next week, we will see more classic "Soul Train". The J5 episode was a sneak preview.

It's already launched. I think they will just show a different ST episode every week. For now, they are running some original programming. I've seen Inside MJ's Mansion, and another show based around MJ that featured his ABC interviews from the late 70s and 80s.

Everything else has been left over MTV and VH1 programming. The Salt-N-Pepa Show, Run's House and some Notorious BIG documentary are running heavily this week.

According to the website (http://www.centrictv.com/), they are creating some new shows.

i thought one of the best j5 albums was the dancing machine album. not only the title track, but one of the great underrated (by some) j5 tracks, is 'i am love'. i have it on my ipod. it *still* sounds good after all these years.
