Turned quite a few folks on to this set during my trip last week.
Another killer tune by that band... ...Children of the Night (from the Lugano performance) I wish they could've hung together a bit longer and recorded another album. I agree...unfortunately, it was a month after this when his wife, Ana Maria died in the airline accident, and that's what halted that tour and lineup. Of course, by the time he started recording and touring again he was in a difeferent place conceptually and musically moving back to an acoustic band. But yeah, this was definitely one of his most exciting groups, IMO (and from the live stuff I've heard, Lugano was the best of many great nights)... ...
