Janet and Tina Together Again Palladia has been rerunning the 2009 MTV VMAs. I watched the MJ tribute at the beginning a few times. I noticed that Tyce Diorio was one of the dancers in the "Scream" segment. I thought.....wow, cool. He is a big time choreographer now, and was on Janet's Velvet Rope Tour, and he's on So You Think You Can Dance frequent as a judge and choreographer. Then I got to looking. Chris Judd and others were in there. Then I dug around a bit. I THOUGHT that one girl looked like Tina Landon, who used to be one of J's BFF's before a big fall out around 1998. From wikipedia:

Just thought I'd never see Janet and Tina on the same stage again. Weird that Chris Judd was married to J-Lo, who was in the audience. J-Lo was a JJ dancer too. I'm not sure I saw Mia Michaels in there, but a few of the others were in the dance crew. PS I read just now that some of the other dancers, before the Janet segment were dancers who were rehearsing for the This Is It shows. [Edited 9/29/09 19:25pm] | |

I kind of took an MJ sabbatical just before and after the VMAs. There was SO much news about it, I didn't want it to be spoiled when I did see it. Plus....we are all over saturated with coverage since MJ's death. | |
