I'm sorry but I never understood why people made fun of Latoya's music career because I always felt she and Janet had the same vocal ability. Janet is FAR from being a great singer and I don't think any of her albums will be remembered for her outstanding vocal performances. Unlike Janet, Latoya never worked with the right producers/record label who were able to take her career to a higher level. I thought there were some really great songs on her "Heart Don't Lie" CD. This was the album that could have made her a star. The title track was actually getting some attention. Unfortunatly, CBS decided not to market the album outside of black radio, therefore, her career failed to take off. And her continuing to allow her daddy to manage her didn't help her out at all.

michael obv had a huge influence on janet, for the better

michael and janet influenced each other in different ways but michael is a great singer with more range and vocal than janet.

janet is a better singer than latoya but not by much, she just has better producers and songs.

I don't think either can sing well. Carry a tune, yes. I believe that Rebbie has the best voice out of all three of the sisters. Also, Latoya didn't have the drive that Michael and Janet had. She wanted to be a lawyer afterall and her dad pushed into singing. She had some great early 80's music. I think she should of gotten back to modeling and pursued becoming a lawyer after You're gonna rocked wasn't received well.
