music headbang Great opener to a fantastic album!!

I'm still pissed that my favorite Ojays album,'Family Reunion',hasn't been remastered yet. It's the only Ojays album that hasn't gotten the remastered treatment!mad

I've heard so many people say that Family Reunion is their favorite! Strange, I, don't understand why that one hasn't been overhauled.

BTW, regarding "When The World's At Peace"...I once read that the Chambers Brothers ("Time Has Come Today") had recorded tunes for an album with Philly International, but the album got shelved. And a member of the group said that some of the O'Jays early stuff with P.I. was originally written for them. When I hear that ticking cowbell at the end of When the World's At Peace" I think I see what he's talking about(reminds me of the end of "Time has Come...")...this kind of song would've been right up their alley....

Yeah,I read about this in the book 'A House On Fire'.It seems that much of the 'BackStabbers' album was intended for that other group. They were kinda pissed that their ideas were "stolen".
