It is rather messy to handle it this way, isn't it . These internet applications are really making people too footloose and fancy free with what they want to throw out to the general public no no no!

Swizz Beats wife should "tweet" a letter her husband and not Ms. Keys. These situation are always volatile, emotional and very painful and I do empathize but the "home wrecker" is Swizz Beat. I've never understood why women feel the need to confront the "other women" when in fact they need to confront their man/husband. Your husband choose to disrespect your vows; I'm certain the "other womenn" didn't to put a gun to his head and made him get in bed with her.

You really do have some women, many women, who think that men can't help themselves and therefore its up the female race to keep them from cheating. An ex-friend of mine had a ruthless cheating ass husband and all she ever did was confront the other women. I asked her "why are you wasting time with these heffas, go talk to him" and she replied "he's just being a man, those bitches should know better." I was like eek . Swizz's wife is probably one of those type of women and that's probably why he is leaving her. Even players get bored with doormats.

No, the home wreckers are both Alicia Keys AND Swizz Beats. If you go back and read what was said, Mashonda mentioned that she knows people will only see Alicia Keys the celebrity and not the person in this situation. She's right. There is no reason to think she hasn't already confronted Swizz. Mashonda is coming off as far more calm and intelligent that I thought she would be. As I said on another thread, this is an AFFAIR, which is different from some jumpoff/groupie sex where they hit it and quit it and move on. This was another relationship and there is no reason to absolve Alicia from her part in it as well. BOTH parties were guilty and whereas she can confront Swizz at home in private, she obviously can't do the same with Alicia. If Alicia can drop her drawers for someone else's husband, she can deal with what the wife has to say to her for doing it. She's contributing to the embarrassment of that woman. Why should she be exempt when she played a part as well? She shouldn't.

Well once again there is a HUGE double standard as always. If this is a female getting with the man so to speak, we say "oh thats fucked up shes breaking up a family etc..." and yet if its a dude we're like " oh thats what happens"

I mean there was a line in the Odd Couple Tv show back in the 70's, the line was "it takes two to make a rotten marriage" plain and simple, they are all wrong and they are all right case closed.

With all due respect, where did I mention anywhere in my post about Ms. Key's celebrity? Where did I write Ms. Key's should be absolved of anything? I wrote in general terms of a man, his wife, and the other woman. Maybe you should reread what I wrote. I find your unique observation that a one nightstands versus having an affair are different...talk about compartmentalizing and/or moral relativism.

Swizz Beats wife isn't married to both parties, she married to him. Once he choose to have an affair or fuck around, he put his marriage in jeopardy. Save me, "she dropped her draws"... he dropped his BVDs. So, every time he has an affair or fucks around, you gonna confront every women he sees? This solves what? That's foolish. If she's confronted Swizz and he's continued to see Ms. Key's anyway, he's already given her an answer: He doesn't give damn about her, her feelings, nor how it's impacted their family.. if they have one. She has some tuff painful decisions to make.

Forget about double standards among genders.

Angelina Jolie was NEVER verbally attack for messing with another woman's husband as bad as Alicia Keys.

So not only do we have a gender-based double standard, but we also have a race-based double standard as well.

So Alicia Keys is a home-wrecking hussy... falloff I could never understand what the big deal was about her (still can't to be totally honest). Stevie Wonder helped her greatly on her first album from what I remember (as did several others) but they kept passing her off as some musical prodigy. Prince didn't have anyone helping him make his first album so I never understood the 'prodigy' title they bestowed on Alicia, but shrug

Mashonda just needs to let Alicia have him because he doesn't sound like he's work the skin he's printed on. Women who are willing to put up with cheating men should just tattoo 'Welcome' across their foreheads since they seem to like to be treated like doormats. She should divorce him because she can get tons of alimony and child-support from his punk ass since Alicia has openly admitted to his infidelities...cha-ching baby girl; time to get paid. dancing jig

At one of the MTV VMA afterparties, Alicia got on the mic and told a room full of people that Swizz Beats was 'the love of my life' and they were all huggy and kissy face for the entire evening. I read that in a recent issue of US Weekly so that made the rumors turn into reality with the quickness for me because US Weekly (despite being a tabloid) has been accurate when it comes to their award show afterparties coverage.

People haven't been nice to Angelina Jolie either, but Angelina wasn't exactly flaunting her and Brad's relationship that openly while he was still legally married to Jennifer Aniston either (they kept it platonic-looking for quite some time). Plus, Angelina has never had a wholesome, squeaky clean image. She was always seen as being a bad girl even when she hooked up with an engaged Billy Bob Thornton and several of her past co-stars (even married one), so people probably weren't all that surprised by her Brad hook-up in the end because it's nothing new for her. Alicia has never seemed like that type of person, so it's kinda a shocker that she would do this. Honestly, I'm more shocked by the LeAnn Rimes affair than I am by Alicia Keyes' littly love tryst, because LeAnn has always seem soo...above that to me, but I guess you never know in the end. Angelina may not have gotten as much flake as Alicia in the beginning, but she didn't get kudos and praise either.
