Is it a Lymon original though? hmmm Coz I remember seeing a footage of Ms.Ella singing it,,,,even though she was the Lady Of Song, Frankie's version is superior by faaaar.

This song is older than the hills!! My mom who will be 78 soon, remembers this song as a child growing up in the 30's. It was written by Matty Malneck and Johnny Mercer and done by the likes of Benny Goodman, and Ella.

Frankie invented the "boy band formula" many decades before the phrase was first mention. cool

Great song and I love the movie they made about his life. Ms. Halle Barry was looking great in that movie but the actor that was playing Frankie Lymon was looking better. razz

He was an ugly lil' ol rascal. I'd love to know how he got so many women.

He had NSAAA:

No

Sex

Appeal

At

All.

Did you know he worked as a small-time pimp at one time when he was still eleven or some shit? And I think if you were a singer and was as good as Frankie was, you could get the girls. Plus he was tiny so he was able to get 'em. Looks be damned.

That's good to know so I can take Halle from you. lol tease

On a serious note, it's still pretty sad that Frankie died so young at age 25. Like the case of Elvis & Michael in later years, drugs also took Frankie down as well. disbelief
