They deserve it for sure. They were lyrical geniuses.

They deserve to at the very least be nominated. I think they deserve it, but the RRHOF seem to ignore certain artists, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Certainly.

But since they're not eligible until 2012/13 and they had such a short but astonishing career, I'd say it might be awhile.

There are a lot of great musical artists out there to honor since this modern musical explosion started in the early-to-mid 50s.

If I were either of them, I wouldn't make dinner reservations for the night of the induction during any of the 2020s. wink

No.The guys are hip hop royalty but i can't see
too many rap artists outside of Run DMC and
the Beastie Boys get in due to their rock influence
in their music and being the first rap artists to
gain a rock audience.

That's true too. For some reason I just don't see them in there but I can see why Flash, Run DMC and the Beasties (and even LL) would.

No way LL should be in there before Eric and Rakim

I also agree that they deserve it. But not until Public Enemy & N.W.A. are in the HOF first.

That is why I believe Public Enemy & N.W.A. can definitely get in at some point. Both of these rap groups did gain a rock audience.

But LL's first 2 albums (Radio & Bigger And Deffer) have plenty of rock influences. wink

nod His "Mama Said Knock You Out" and "Going Back to Cali" joints were also favorites by the "rock crowd". I think Rick Rubin produced both... I think anyway, lol

Thing is, LL has been around much longer than Eric and Rakim. His album My Radio came out a couple of years before Paid in Full,so he will be eligible much earlier.

I think they have about as much chance of making it into the RRHOF as an igloo being built in hell does. Even with that said, I honestly do believe they deserve to be in, though!
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

They should get in without any problems.
