She has a new album out with Pete Yorn, and I'm mildly surprised.

She has a classic voice. Not a powerhouse or anything, but a very nice voice despite.

I was totally shocked.

I enjoyed parts of her previous album. There was absolutely, positively, no over-singing whatsoever - this I like.

loved her first album. her voice was the least enjoyable thing about it, though. and they did their best to keep it in the background on her own album

Out of curiosity, I listened to some of the tracks from this, and they actually are not too bad at all. I admit to pre-judging Scarlett's singing ability, but she's not too bad and Pete Yorn's music is quite good.

watched half of a video of hers on tv this morning and was like . her voice wasn't bad and i don't mind this kind of music at all. i guess i'd just rather see her in movies is all
