FWIW, I have "Man in the Mirror" as Michael's 8th-best song and "Like a Prayer" as Madonna's 21st-best song. ??? His 8th best song????? OMG! That's your opinion and I respect it...but MITM, in my point of view, isn't even on Michael's top 50 while LAP is Madge's best song. [Edited 9/26/09 4:59am]

When I say "best," I mean "my favorite." IMO, any flaws of "Man in the Mirror" are masked by how damn powerful it is. If nothing else, it moves me, which is the mark of a great song AFAIC. I actually have it as his 6th-best solo song, because 2 of the songs I have above it are with his brothers. As for Madonna, 5 songs from Ray of Light alone are better than "Like a Prayer." It's a great song, though. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Do you think all Michael's positive songs are corny? If you mean songs like "Heal The World", "The Lost Children", "We Are The World", etc. then yeah, I do. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
