Isn't Christina Aguilera's new album "Light & Darkness" the next best thing...Produced by Goldfrapp, Ladytron...?

I think it will give us the pop album we truly deserve and that Madonna and the other hoes failed...Ok so maybe Robyn, Cyndi and Gaga gave us something to chew...

First of all, when you start name calling like that, just to pump up the artist you love, it demeans your whole post.

Second, Madonna has been in the business for 25+ years, and had more #1 singles and more Top 10 singles than fucking Elvis. She's hardly a failure. Now whether you like her or not is another issues, so let's keep her success, and your dislike of her as separate issues.

Third, Robyn is bigger overseas, so her failure or success lies in what country she's in. I'm not a fan of hers at all (except for one remix that I still cannot find).

Cyndi Lauper.....see part of Madonna statement above. n That woman is still making music, touring, and selling out wherever she plays. She's failed at nothing, and has never NOT made music, and sold albums. So I don't know what you're reading, but the rest of the world can see her ongoing success.

Gaga is a poor reproduction of .....whoever she's trying to emulate. I can't imagine caring anyy less about her than I do right now.

I do enjoy some Christina music. She can certainly sing, and there's no denying that, whether someone likes the music or not. However, with the list of producers she's working with this time, and the two new songs from her last compilation CD/DVD set noted as being a preview of the work she has coming, I am hopeful that it will jet some freshness into today's stale music scene.

Today's music is like eating an unsalted saltine with a cup of almost-spoiled milk. She's not the savior of music, but she sure is a breath of fresh air when she puts something out lately. Back to Basics is a good set of music, although it could have been 1 long and strong disk, instead of 2 disks, IMO.

As far as calling it the next best thing.....to what? We've not heard it, so until we do, let's reserve that judgment; however as stated, I'm anxious for it.

Her album will be very interesting for sure.

Can't wait to see what she's planning.
