2.Cheryl Lynn
3.Deniece Williams 4.Patrice Rushen I'd like 2 hear especially Dinese Williams come out again, that would REALLY REALLY REALLY be a nice 2 hear her voice! Patrice was in The Scource not 2 long ago i think Cheryl Lynn...hmmm...I dont know. Cherelle, if she made another Jimmy & Terry produced album, I'd run out and buy that shit, because after "Cherelle" LP, it just went downhill from there. Although I dont know what her last album sounded like... What about Anita Baker? She comin out? Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Shanice made a fairly recent LP w/ two singles "When I Close My Eyes" and "Yesterday" (a gorgeous ballad). It was realeased in 98 or 99 I think because I saw her at a local radio station's concert at about that time...had a better voice than i thought and is very beautiful.

Deniece Williams still tours regularly. In fact,I'll be seeing her in concert on February 8,when she performs as part of the "Super Oldies Show" in my area. She will be sharing the bill with other Old School R&B acts like Everlyn "Champagne" King and Heatwave. Cherelle still tours too.She and Alexander O'Neal are still popular in Europe,so they play alot of shows there (performing as a duo). Patrice Rushen appeared in a recent issue of Vibe, where she mentioned that, these days, she does alot of behind-the-scenes stuff (film scores, etc). Up until a few years ago,Shanice was working very closely with Babyface. She appeared on many of his productions.Don't know what she's up to now,but ten years ago,it looked like she had a promising future. Anita Baker is still living here in Detroit (well, actually in her HUGE lakefront home in Grosse Pointe. . .) playing the stay-at-home mama role. However, she recently stepped out for a local church's fundraiser. I didn't go, but apparently she was in fine voice.

okay first of all, Funkmaster Flex is a pus y... and 2 those who think diff.
Mica Paris needs 2 get back 2 Holdenby Rd. (not even a mile from where :I: live) and find herself again... Cheryl Lynn lived 2 her words, kept it real and stepped out of the music biz b4 ending up like Donna Summer... Will Downing recently did an impressive cover of MJ's "I Can't Help It" recently... but he was always good at the ol' covers... :I: saw Deniece Williams per4m live at a festival in Greenwich, UK in which her band were great but :I: guess she's still trying 2 hear it 4 the boy or FROM a boy... and Does either Patrice Rushen OR Roberta Flack need 2 release any more material? these women are LEGENDS!! furthermore on dre's , in 2days sh ty music industry, big ppl ain't being given the chance 2 cut it out there... unless their name is Aretha. Sad ain't it? 'dre [This message was edited Tue Jan 7 19:07:56 PST 2003 by DreZone] Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

1.Roberta Flack
Doing a lot of work with Londell McMillan for artists' rights. Trying to get her catalog ownership from Atlantic. Doing some new work, not for any specific project (Londell wants her to do a Santana "Supernatural" all star album) 2.Cheryl Lynn Old School Festivals 3.Deniece Williams "All Mommas Go To Heaven" "Good Men Are Hard to Get/ Keep/ Find/ Love/ Whatever" been to a gospel play lately? She's on the circuit (sometimes even with Tony Terry!!!) (I kid the Tony Terry...heheh...) 4.Patrice Rushen Tons of session work, she's probably on 1/4 of every smooth jazz cds that come out. Plus scoring. 5.Cherrelle asked and answered 6.Shanice Wilson Sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. Shhh, don't make me wake her and prove it... Last she said, she was waiting for Babyface to get distro for his NuAmerica imprint (he left Arista) 7.Nicole Renee Sleeping down the hall from Shanice. Don't tell her, she doesn't know Shanice and I are also together. She just thinks we're close friends. She doesn't have a deal right now, but she plays guitar and sings me to sleep every (other) night.

He released two great albums in the 90's Love's The Place To Be{1993} and Moods {1995}. Those albums were the bomb.
