Michael Jackson Merchandise - From Nothing to Madness So before Michael's death, it seems that everything was either like a needle in a haystack or something from the Thriller era, now with his passing, it seems there is a flood of unofficial-and some already official Michael Jackson products. His mint coins were released today and it got me to thinking...
The fans that were so use to collecting every little thing Michael Jackson during his lifetime (cough cough) me, are going to have a harder time keeping up with the changing merchandise situation. It will be more about deciding what they want. Are any other Michael fans (or casual fans) overwhelmed with all the new Michael Jackson stuff? I know some fans LOVE it, and others feel like it is annoying that everyone and their mother is jumping on the Michael Jackson merchandise band-wagon. I just wanted to hear some views about it. P.S. I hope one day Prince comes out with a Hot Toys action figure. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

With regard to the official items, according to reports, Michael's management team & concert promoter AEG were eager to counter the anticipated rush of pirated merchandise that was already beginning to flood the market in wake of the "This is It" tour annoucement. Michael negotiated a deal in early June with Bravado, the music merchandising company, to create & market over 300 products he had designed himself. Click below to access the site.

I don't collect things like that so it won't affect me. Only thing I've bought is music and dvds. I will though probably get a t-shirt some time.
Great. News reports Greenland is melting so fast we're all going to drown in the Netherlands. Perhaps they can stop with all this production of merchandise after all to save us "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life - | |
