Don't want to be a spoilsport, but his life didn't seem to be too easy during his final years.

Nothing sounds like his unique voice or his just as unique guitar playing, but at least there's the records.... and reissues!

Yep I would strongly recommend that all Mr. Mayfield fans to get it this album it's a must have. To think Mayfield had to record his performances line by line.

I love "The Got Dang Song". The album was a great swan song.
