Your fave BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN song...? (Happy 60!) Happy birthday... Bruce Springsteen turned 60 yesterday.
I'm not "the biggest fan" of Springsteen, but 1984 was a great year for him, I like his Born In The USA album. My fave song is probably "Cover Me". What's your fave Springsteen song ? Prince 4Ever.

Too many to name, i couldn't pick a favorite so here's a few, and only a few. The Boss is the best.
Badlands Darkness on The Edge of Town Streets of Fire With Every Wish Atlantic City Radio Nowhere Jackson Cage Could go on but what's the point. He's the greatest. To me, he's just as important as Elvis or Prince. Don't understand how anyone could hate the guy. Personal or music reasons? or both? Prince is an infinitely hateful guy, wonder how you feel about him.

1. Rosalita 2. It's Hard to be a Saint in the City 3. Glory Days 4. Badlands 5. The Promised Land 6. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 7. Jungleland 8. She's the One 9. Seven Angels 10. Santa Ana

Nobody does it quite like the "Boss". He is one of the finest songwriters that rock music has ever produced. My short list of favorites are: "Point Blank" "Adam Raised A Cain" "One Step Up" "Tunnel of Love" "Cover Me" "The River" "Two Faces" "Prove It All Night" "Part Man, Part Monkey" "I Wish I Were Blind" "If I Should Fall Behind" "Loose Ends" "Atlantic City"

My favourite Bruce Springsteen listening experience is most definitly "Meeting Across the River" and "Jungleland". The two songs go together so well I think of them as one big cinematic dream.

ugh... really impossible to pick just one. He's got so many amazing songs.
Thunder Road & Brilliant Disguise definitely rank up there for me. Born to Run is obviously one of the great rock songs in history (as is the entire album.) Born in the USA is stellar from start to finish. Tunnel of Love is great as well, and of course Nebraska, and... well the list goes on. But I guess if I had to pick one.... Thunder Road. That's essential Bruce, IMHO. Happy 60th to The Boss! Sounds as great as ever. * * *

are there any Springseen fan sites as good as this one? I am a prince fan but not of him personally he's a congenital asshole. Bruce is twice the man that he is I think, I wish they had a good site for him.

"Dancing in the Dark" is my favorite, but I admit I'm not a huge fan. I also love the Pointer Sisters' take on "Fire." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
