I've always loved her since 'Why don't we fall in love.' Her music has always been catchy and has always had a pop edge. I've never been able to figure out why she's never blew up. confuse She's not even on Ciara's c-list level.

The tracks i have heard are all amazing "Higher" is the best song in RB all year nothing even close happening in that genre. The leak should be happening soon, the cd will hit the mom and pops wednesday night before street date, i will b there, this has been a long wait!

Im not really sure what the whole "craze" is with album covers, so many people download shit anyway, and that artwork you need a magnifying glass to see, and even cd covers, i mean really? covers havent mattered since the 70's and 80's

Listening to the whole album now, just got a leak, will be purchasing when it hits the NYC local shops on thursday night early. Already this album is blowing all the ladies in rb away!

Im liking it better than "Because i love it" she has gotten more live sounding and even more raw on this album. My only complaint on the last record were too many slow jams tacked on to that album, should have been shorter. On this record, after one listen its her best yet. "Higher" and "Dangerous" are two songs that 90% of the RB genre should be forced to hear, and maybe it will rub off on them. Amerie's "live" sound makes me curious to listen again, she isnt super layered like others, i mean, i actually feel like im getting what came out her mouth not what a producer put through a filter. My only complaint on this record on the track "flowers" it should have stayed just a piano, the RB beat thrown in spoiled what could have been her best ballad yet. Im very suprised "Dear John" made the album, it was a toss up of that and "Get Gone" and it won out, but its a great track but it was done over a year and half ago i was surprised it made it. The remix of "heard em all" isnt a real remix, its yet another tack on a rapper at the labels order! That shouldve been left off, but thats the game of Def Jam. Def Jam is already dropping the ball on this album, going for "Pretty Brown" as the next single is yet another mistake, "Higher" needs to be the one, they just dont know how to market an RB female that uses live musicians, and has a guitar solo in a song (real one).

Not really feeling the album. Most of the material sounds like
the same stuff being played on the radio. The only song that i
can get into is More than Love.
