I dig how he changed the group's sound from bigband-funk to a more new wave-funk style. The transition from the Knights-concept to the Alligator Woman-project had quite an impact and did well at the charts.
Larry's focus and determination to bring Cameo's wave of funk 'n roll always got me inspired. And he had attitude on stage :

I'm a fan forever, but also a lil' sad when i saw them recently perform, because besides their excellent skills and all,
they routinely worked through their setlist like a nostalgia-act and which hasn't changed much the last few years.
For example, a slowjam like "Sparkle In Your Eyes" is always introduced with "Ladies, this is for YOU !"
Man, what i wouldn't pay them to hear live-versions of slowjams like "Hangin' Downtown", "Love You Anyway",
or jams like "Groove With You", "Is This The Way" and what not more of their less performed stuff ...
wishful thinking i guess hrmph pout lol But they seem to work on a cd/dvd project with cool joints.

"Soul Army"
"Don't Be Lonely" - I can never just listen to this once.
"Funk, Funk"
"I've Got Your Image"
"Rigormotis" - Funk personified.
"Flirt"
"Back N Forth" - This song is just pure hotness.
"She's Mine"
"It's Over"
"Talkin Out The Side Of Your Neck"- More funk epitomized.

Do they play any of these live? They were at Taste of Chicago and I missed them. I wondered what their setlist would be for a mainstream crowd like the Taste. I have always LOVED many of their lesser known jams even more than the hits. For example, I never need to hear Word Up again, but if I could hear great renditions of "We're Going Out Tonight," "Attack Me With Your Love" or any of the ones mentioned above live. I would lose my head.

Cameo is really underrated in my opinion. That band has some bonafied cuts!

Yeah, i've heard a live-recording of them performing "Rigor Mortis" at The House Of Blues in New Orleans around 1999.
The other ones which you've bookmarked i once saw them jam at a show, together with "Flirt" and "She's Mine" in the same show.
Sometime ago a live-video from another track on diamondpearl1's list appeared on youtube :
