Michael Jackson on his family With his demise in June, all things Michael Jackson have started to surface, from unreleased music, photos, wills, debts, etc. Well now here comes an audio tape thats says:
It's long been known that Michael Jackson's family life was complicated. But interview tapes newly unearthed by News of the World reveal just how mixed his emotions toward his siblings and parents were. On the tapes, which were recorded at his former estate Neverland Ranch, the deceased King of Pop—who died in June at age 50—lashes out at nearly every member of his family. On his brothers in the Jackson 5: "The brothers didn't give me support. We'd be working on a TV show or video and they'd be sitting around moaning and groaning but I'd be watching and learning...It takes a talent, but some people are lazy and don't want to develop anything." On Marlon: "People used to call him ugly and make fun of him— and people would say, 'Which brother is that one?' He constantly imitates me on stage. Whatever I do he'll do right after me. I hate when that happens because he looks too 'doo woppy' and so old-fashioned." On mother Katherine: "She disappointed me. She did an interview (about him). I don't like her to talk. It's none of those people's business." (Jackson also revealed that his mother never wanted daughters: "She wished she would have had all boys. She told my sisters that—and they agreed! That's how my sisters are—they are prejudiced against other girls.") On sister La Toya: "To me she is Mrs. Nice and Nasty. I come in her room (and she says), 'You can't sit on her couch, sit on the bed or walk on the carpet.' She wants to keep everything fresh...If you cough at the table she covers her plate. If you sneeze forget it, she's in another room. If you clear your throat, you can't do that while she is eating." On father Joe: "I would suffer if I had to spend a whole day with him...He would sit in a chair with a belt or a switch and we'd do our performance. And if we messed up he hit you...To tell you the truth, I never have felt close to him. He has always been like a mystery man." Music Royalty in Motion

Why do I get the feel that most of THAT^ report is pure bullshit?!?

Gotta love how nothing this guy did could ever stay out of the public. Whether this is true or not, either way it shows the bullshit this man had to deal with.

Well, most of what has been said can be read in his book, Moonwalker. If you read Moonwalker the comments about Latoya, Janet and the father are all there for the world to see, they are hardly secrets. The only information which is somewhat new are the comments he makes about his brothers and considering what Latoya has said in the past those comments are hardly scandalous.
The thing is most of Michael's scandals happened when he was still alive, therefore there is not much you can really say about him which hasn't been said before. Everything from the child abuse to the biology of his children to the relationship with his family were all discussed to death when he was alive. So unless they have got some fresh, completely new information about Michael the tabloids are practically recycling all the stories which were put out when he was alive.

The article is overexaggerated. The tape they posted wasn't negative, and if anyone read Moonwalk, they'd know it wasn't negative towards his family at all "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Most of those things, especially about his father and sisters were actually in Moonwalk. Why can't they come up with something new, instead of recycled and made to look sensational.

The tape sounds like it was made during the BAD era or something especially if he was interviewed for his autobiography. [Edited 9/22/09 13:37pm]

The tabloid said it was made 25 years ago. [Edited 9/22/09 13:54pm]

ANOTHER Jackson reissue? (except now, it's news headlines)

Anyways regarding those tapes, its normal for people to be annoyed by their own family members every now and then, but Michael always seemed to forget about himself and how he was nowhere from being a perfect human being either. As the fame came, he grew more and more full of himself and out of touch with the real world. [Edited 9/22/09 14:09pm]

[Edited 9/22/09 13:54pm] 1984? Oh LORD! Should've known it was OLD when the news had him quoting about how "jealous" he was that Janet married James, lol [Edited 9/22/09 14:12pm]

So it's safe to say Janet wasn't even a "music star" yet when Michael did this interview and this was either before or after the Jacksons tour, lol Or just around it, lol
