At least you didn't open "Rolling Stone" cuase then you would be real pissed! I can't believe that Justin's album was one of the Top 50 of the year but Bowie's brilliant "Heathen" is ignored (I don't even think they reviewed it at all!). I was never big on the Clash but I would rather but their drummer up there then some bastard that drags his ex-girlfriend's name through the dirt in order to get his solo career off the ground. Oh yeah, I'm sidding with Britney!

Fair enough. But I realized long ago that RS, like Vibe is now, is an empty shell of its former self. If you're looking to find a quality music magazine you probably won't find it with the big time US mainstream rags. I still hold Britain's MOJO in higher esteem than any American music mag because of its depth of subject matter, writing, and wide diversity of artists presented. I suppose we could always find something to improve upon with magazines we actually like, but MOJO has no USA equal when it comes to the things above I mentioned. However, if you want a mag devoted to basically just one or two genres (and there's nothing wrong with that if it's quality), MOJO isn't for you.

Rolling Stone has had its day and now it's nothing but a teenie bopper magazine. It's so obvious with who they put on their covers and how they rate cds. Unfortunately, most mags have to cater to the younger crowd because us older more mature music fans will not by trash. It used to be a great mag. I bought it for years in my teens, but I don't give it the time of day now.

i have always been a Justin fan,i love the album so i have no beef with him.
but RS can fuck themselves up the ass 4 all i care. . . .last month in our edition here (the final RS i wil ever buy!) ...they had Rock's 50 greatest meltdowns & in at #5 i believe was Prince, just dissing him majorly & dissing Cherry Moon, saying after Purplerain he was nothing . . .no mention of TRC being the most creative & musically astonashing of his career... ..they never reviewed the muthafuckin thing!

& nearly a whole page on Mj just going him . . .they r nothing but money hungry craze-following muthafuckas!

damn i hate them, can i cuss them out more or shall i stop??

i was gonna vote in their reader's poll 4 Prince in every damn category besides worst haircut & best dress sense . . .but nah, wouldnt give them satisfaction of having my name on a ballot!
