I notice that the older she gets, she gets meatier. She has big ole legs, she's not one of those women walking about with her clavicle sticking out, and it works for her. Most importantly she seems to be fine with that, too, which makes the meatiness attractive on her.

At that other recent thread people were saying that whilst she does perhaps have some of the classic, soulful quality of Stevie or Marvin in her music - she should not be in any way really compared to them. Well, let me just say that I far prefer seeing her in that outfit over Stevie or Marvin.

oh, I just read her new album will be out in late 2009. Is it already two years since her last one, oh man, time flies...

But I dislike the lead single. The production is too radio-lik, not one ounce of blackness in it. And the song itself is to blatantly radio-ish for my taste.

Well, the first lead single from one of her albums I don't like.
