Why is Q-tip all of a sudden releasing Kamaal the Abstract Tomorrow.........

Why is he just now releasing this CD tomorrow? Why wasn't it released already? Isn't this CD about 5 years old already.

It was supposed to be released, but it was pulled back, because L.A. Reid, did not know what to do with it.

HMV in the UK.

Listened this morning on the way to work, it's amazing, defo on par with 'The Renaissance'. 'Barely in Love' was the standout track, Q-Tip singing and not rapping. Musically, sounds bit like a Stones track.

lots of interesting jazz flourishes throughout, he really is an artist in the true sense of the word.

I had no idea the album was a few years old before i bought it. Makes no difference, it's great.

Buy it music lovers.
9/10. smile

Wow... it's a little anticlimactic at this point considering many of us have had it for years. Great album, though!

Amazing album, I've had it for a long time but I'm glad it's going to get a new audience and a second chance, it really deserves it!

Wow! It's great that Q-Tip is finally able to release this project! I'm actually encouraged by the responses I am reading here; I would have thought that the people who wanted this CD already had it.

I've had Kamaal the Abstract in my CD collection since 2002 (and even by then, some of the tracks had been floating around for a few months). But I love listening to it and sharing it with others. Great stuff!

I actually liked this project when he was first supposed to release it. Good grief it took them (the industry) five years of horrible and uninspiried music to be released across the board for them to decide this was a decent project to release.
