Kanye West was asked to leave Radio City Music Hall not long after he crashed the MTV Video Music Awards stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video. The rapper rushed onto the stage and immediately protested Swift's win, saying Beyoncé instead deserved the honor. "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," 'Ye proclaimed after he pulled the microphone out of the country star's hands. B looked stunned as she sat by in the audience. West, of course, has a history of awards-show tirades, beginning in 2004 at the American Music Awards when he bolted during the show after losing out on Best New Artist and later telling reporters, "I felt like I was definitely robbed, and I refused to give any politically correct bullsh---ass comment ... I was the best new artist this year." Two years later at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, West took his complaints to the stage in a similar fashion to tonight's rant. Justice and Simian's "We Are Your Friends" bested West for an award and the rapper interrupted their speech as he popped up onstage saying he should have won, because his clip "cost a million dollars and Pamela Anderson was in it." He later apologized for his stunt, explaining he had a "little sippy sippy" before the production. West seemed to take that instance in stride as he joked he was going to have another "sippy sippy" before the night was over. But his verbal attack against Swift had a more vicious tone. According to a tweet from Jay-Z's DJ, Neil Armstrong, Swift and her mother were seen backstage crying afterward; Beyoncé brought Swift onstage for another chance at her acceptance speech later in the show. Various celebs have lashed out against West on Twitter, including Pink, who had to be escorted away from the rapper by security. Prior to Sunday night's show, West was captured by photographers on the red carpet swigging from a bottle of Hennessey. In multiple pictures West can be seen cradling the bottle as he and his girlfriend Amber Rose were snapped; he is also seen sharing the bottle with Pete Wentz, and in a different shot, West is standing near Joe Jackson, who is holding it. Following his rant against Swift, West returned to his seat and flipped off the audience, who began booing him, before he sat down. He was booed again in the show when Diddy announced the nominees for Best Male Video. "What I say?" Diddy asked, as the boos rained down. West had already left Radio City Music Hall by then, however. pass the bottle and twist the cap...but with Joe Jackson? nasty so it wasn't staged then? [Edited 9/13/09 21:27pm]

So sad that Swift and her mom were crying-Kanye's albums are good, but he is a real asshole. Really sad that all this shit overshadows his work.

And I'll still watch parts of the BET Awards before watching MTV. Sorry-ass award show. Didn't see Madonna speaking (I was watching wrestling) but I did see Janet when I came home. That's all I needed. I can tell u one thing, ALL u would have needed to see was AMERIE on the red carpet!! As for the other notes, i dont really like phony tributes, i think the grammys will be able to nail a real tribute but its got to have people that Michael had as contemporaries, i dont wanna see lil wayne or akon doing MJ. Janet was cool, the madonna speech was to the point and pointed out everything, warts and all as someone posted here, thats what a tribute is, very classy speech, janets performance again class, KANYE totally destroyed all class in seconds, thank god, Jay Z and Beyonce had some serious issues with his move and needed to do some wiping up for that prick. I've never listened to any of his stuff, but saw a preview of it today and it cemented my decision to ignore him. He just yelled and grunted and I SO hate face tat's...YUK! And the fact he has two babies being born so close together also disgusts me. So he'll get no respect from me for anything. (not like he would care!)

He is a parody, this is why i cant take anything he does seriously or give him any credit musically, he is a true dick, the big problem is not so much that we cant seperate the fact that he is dick from him as an artist, he cant seperate the two. That moment will make him the biggest dick worldwide, on a show that was to be about MJ and that tribute Kanye the dick had to make it about him again! MEMO: Just so you all know, ViaCON (current owner of MTV, BET, & VH-1) has lifted the banned off of Andrew Dice Clay back in 2005. Therefore, he is allow to return on any MTV-related shows, VMA or otherwise. BACK ON TOPIC: Kanye West is the biggest douche bag of 2009!

As much as I love Janet, her performance was TIRED! For somone who had to practice up to 15 hours a day, she could've done much more with her performance. Madonna's speech was nice and heartfelt. That's as much as I could stomach with the VMA's...who gives a shit about Kanye, and what he said...he's a dildo that needs fresh batteries! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

1)GAGAAAAA!!!!
I love that bitch! She restores my faith in the youngins' She went from lookin like Prince at the start of the evening to lookin like an albino Animal (from Muppets) at the end. 2)Madonna on MJ: I still love her but everything she says always seems disingenuous and over-rehearsed/over-scripted. Parts of the speech that I know were meant to expressed why she related to MJ came across as "About Me" IMO. Her cheek implants looked lovely. 3)Janet: I thought she was gonna do more than that. But she looks fab. She looks practically the same as when she came out. So glad she aint doin "skinny" Janet. 4)Kanye...what a fuckin disappointment. How you gonna do that??? Beyonce brought it home with a lot of CLASS at the end.
