Kanye West was asked to leave Radio City Music Hall not long after he crashed the MTV Video Music Awards stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video. The rapper rushed onto the stage and immediately protested Swift's win, saying Beyoncé instead deserved the honor. "I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," 'Ye proclaimed after he pulled the microphone out of the country star's hands. B looked stunned as she sat by in the audience. West, of course, has a history of awards-show tirades, beginning in 2004 at the American Music Awards when he bolted during the show after losing out on Best New Artist and later telling reporters, "I felt like I was definitely robbed, and I refused to give any politically correct bullsh---ass comment ... I was the best new artist this year." Two years later at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, West took his complaints to the stage in a similar fashion to tonight's rant. Justice and Simian's "We Are Your Friends" bested West for an award and the rapper interrupted their speech as he popped up onstage saying he should have won, because his clip "cost a million dollars and Pamela Anderson was in it." He later apologized for his stunt, explaining he had a "little sippy sippy" before the production. West seemed to take that instance in stride as he joked he was going to have another "sippy sippy" before the night was over. But his verbal attack against Swift had a more vicious tone. According to a tweet from Jay-Z's DJ, Neil Armstrong, Swift and her mother were seen backstage crying afterward; Beyoncé brought Swift onstage for another chance at her acceptance speech later in the show. Various celebs have lashed out against West on Twitter, including Pink, who had to be escorted away from the rapper by security. Prior to Sunday night's show, West was captured by photographers on the red carpet swigging from a bottle of Hennessey. In multiple pictures West can be seen cradling the bottle as he and his girlfriend Amber Rose were snapped; he is also seen sharing the bottle with Pete Wentz, and in a different shot, West is standing near Joe Jackson, who is holding it. Following his rant against Swift, West returned to his seat and flipped off the audience, who began booing him, before he sat down. He was booed again in the show when Diddy announced the nominees for Best Male Video. "What I say?" Diddy asked, as the boos rained down. West had already left Radio City Music Hall by then, however. i wouldnt mind seeing that With Love there is no Death

That's awesome if it is. Tina's back with Janet? If so cool (and its on). I was just coming here to ask ya'll that. And isn't that dude standing behind them from the .janet tour too? My tour book's downstairs and i'm too damn lazy to get it, but I noticed both of them when I was finally able to see the performance. • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Well, Tina did the choreography for Scream, so that could be a reason for her taking part... but then again, maybe they really have made up! Would be great! Keep in mind too that he was the first black artist on MTV with '1999' as it played in late 1982, and Michael's video Thriller did not play on MTV until around March 1983. Yeah I agreed that Michael did extremely helped MTV to be where they are right now and that is why I am kind of disappointed how the tribute was not so all that for a man who had helped them. In 1982, nobody gave a damn about Mtv and Prince was a moderate success but it was MJ's success that pushed Warner to hype Prince up more and probably inspired them to go ahead with the funding of Purple Rain thinking that they could one-up Epic. On another note, am I the only one who liked Muse's performance? I'm not really into their music but I thought they had a strong presence on stage.

Cinnie said: veronikka said: What was all that blood about at the end of Lady GaGa's performance?
You know, a mock human sacrifice satanic initiation. Bohemian Grove styley AnonymousCoward said: The backdrop is a mock-up of the Merovingian palace. Look to the Matrix series and the battle at the Chalet for an example of this set up.
The stairs lead up to the top; an uncapped pyramid with the two pillars and the portal inbetween. Looked like an image of the Garden of Eden is at the top, in between the pillars. The illuminating image, New Eden/Paradise? Her right breast was blackened and her outfit was staged as halves, echoing her video of 'Paparazzi'. Reminiscent of hermaphrodites surrounded by the androgynous dancers. Slaanesh from Games Workshop immediately came to mind, as their games are rife with Masonic/Illuminati symbolism. Ritual blood sacrifice, with the rest of the pack feeding off of her as she hung in a semblance of the Hanging Man of Tarot. 'Lightning' shot out from the sides at the conclusion. Scripture gives a description of someone, or something, that falls from the heavens as lighting, no? All this could be a coincidence though. Peace. [Edited 9/14/09 10:56am] "Do you know what she did? I dont know why people get so crazy about Prince and sales? prince always was and his good to sell a few hundred thousand of a record, even when he drops the shit and walks away from the record he still can sell 100,000 of it. Prince is like REM , the public in masses dug him for 2-3 albums and then its been the loyals that carry him through the rest. Artists like MJ,Janet,Madonna etc..iconic like that could never deal with NOT selling to masses, ask Mariah if she would do an album that pleased her and not the "lambs", she would say no her fans come first, and that is bullshit, you come first, fuck who wants to buy u. As for MUSE i actually liked that song, im just not into these Hype bands, they are every magazine being called the best band ever, just like Arcade Fire was two years ago, just like Colplay was just like RadioHead was....etcetc "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
