70s soul groove of the day: "Toni My Love" by The Spinners (1976)

It's surprising to me that this song wasn't released as a single.It's from The Spinners' 1976 album 'Happiness Is Being With The Spinners' and I think it's the best song on the album.It boasts a jazzy arrangement that's reminiscent of "Games People Play",their massive hit from the year before.

"Just As Long As We Have Love" by The Spinners with Dionne Warwick (1975)


'Pick Of The Litter' is their best album,imo.
