Black Sheep's "Here's Another A$$hole" dissing M.C. Hammer in a classic diss from '94 LAWD!

First verse was OK I guess, but a whole song just to diss one guy? Pretty boring, and honestly, Hammer was such an easy target aswell. Also, even I can tell the raps were pretty slow and predictable.
Never understood the hate for Hammer.

Never understood the hate for Hammer. That's why I posted the fall off smiley. People were just sh***ing on him for some reason.

Yeah when he began to get more "pop" oriented (around the release of "Too Legit to Quit"), that's when they put their knives out on him. Then EVERYBODY put in their two cents from Ice Cube to 3rd Base (though I think they dissed him around '90 but I'm not sure when "Gas Face" came out).

This was around the time he was hangin 'round Suge Knight & Death Row and became lol "The Funky Headhunter" and threw a rock at a hornet's nest of real emcee's on this tune....

Some of these asshole hardcore rappers in the 90's dissed Hammer because he
- Did comercials - Had a cartoon and action figure. - Had a cross over audience Things REAL rappers would neva do, oh wait....

Hammer at one time was selling out in European, Asian and Australian stadiums/arenas. That must've rubbed them the totally wrong way. So when they couldn't directly diss him for him, they dissed his music.

Blacksheep threw the first stone in they're video for "The Choice Is Yours" when Drez balled up a picture of MC Hammer dancing on the hook part, "YOU CAN GET WITH THIS OR YOU CAN GET WITH THAT"

It wasn't so much the things he was doin and gettin 'cause everybody actually respected what he was doin. What pissed people off was that he was in interviews, kissin ass talkin down on other rappers like he was "holier than thou", when less than 5 years ago he was scratchin to survive in Oakland and lived 2 tell about it like they were.

nah nah nah it's that his music was watered down and mostly consisted of party chants and very very simple rhymes.... kinda what rap is today
