I agree....I had a heated debate with someone and they were like Control was her 1st release and when i showed them her self titled release and Dream Street they had to eat CROW....I thought Dream Street was a great release for a young Janet Jackson she was still growing and maturing and thats why she's the LEGEND she is. Hit releases or not i'm a die hard and fan 4LIFE. My favs off Dream Street are Communication,Pretty Boy,Two to The Power of Love and of course Don't Stand Another Chance 12" version is HOT!!!!!

Speaking of Janet, she posted a new picture on Twitter clearing the rumor that Rocky & Bullwinkle were nicknames for Jimmy & Terry. I guess she was writing by herself and not with Jimmy and Terry at the time she posted that Twitter.

Dream Street is a pretty good album. It's her worst '80s album (tough competition there), but it's a billion times better than, say, 20 Y.O.

My main problem with the album is the fact that "Rock 'n Roll" didn't make the cut. It's my 2nd-favorite song from the sessions and it was relegated to a b-side.

I LOVE Dream Street as well. "Don't Stand Another Chance" is a kick-ass song. It should have been a big hit.

Hey, if the groove is hot, sometimes you have to reuse it! Besides, it wasn't the first time she flattered her brother to great effect:
