Does anyone consider it copying or plagiarizing when two songs used the same title and have a similar topic or theme? The two songs below are called “Pusherman” and both songs are about drug dealers but from different persecptives?

I am bringing this up because of the old soul song that some people on another thread feel Is too close to “Kiss” just because of the phrasing and topic of the song are similar. In my opinion this is not plagiarisms but likely to happen as a coincidence.

What do you think and can you think of other songs with the same title or unusal similarities?

I don't. Especially in a situation like this. I'm sure these 2 songs were written from 2 different perspectives. Curtis' for the character in the movie.

Same thing with "There Goes My Baby". 2 different songs with a similar subject.
