For the record Whitney has been doing drugs waayyyy before her record deal, that is old news. Whitney does like the ladies but a lot of women in the industry are into women.  Clive just wants Whitney to show him the money like she did from back in the day. I like the OLD Whitney but it doesn't seem like she's coming back any time soon. Her recent performance showed me that her voice really is gone for good from drug usage. I will not be buying this album but I might download a couple of songs. Janet has a thin, unremarkable voice, and isnt an interesting songwriter, she made it big by being Michaels sister, and with the help of Jam and Lewis.
Witney Houston might have had the potential as a vocalist, but she did lose herself in useless vocal acrobatics, songwriting material lacking soul and the popularity plastic R&B. Both women might have been popular, but on an artistic level they are a failure in the first place. | |
