I don't think this is necessarily better than the original (it's hard to beat Neil Young) but k.d. lang's gorgeous take on "After the Gold Rush" is one of my favorite covers for sure:





And this one I do think is superior to the original. Tori does a beautiful job on "A Case of You."

K.D. does a pretty decent version of that as well. P's cover holds up quite well also, for that matter.

The same can be say about, "This Masquerade". His version, is terrible. George's and surprisingly, The Carpenters version is far superior to Leon's version.
