Than Black Eyed Peas "boob boom pow"

I was arguing with my friend about whether or not Boom boom pow was a good song. I said it wasn't because it was a re-hash of better songs, was formulaic repetitive dance music with silly lyrics and they asked me to name songs that sounded like it but were better.

So my question(s) to you are, do you think boom boom pow is a creative song? do you think the black eyed pease are good? what songs are better than this that have a similar sound?
