Good morning all. I just read that an album called, "Michael Jackson:The Remix Suite", is due out on October 27th.

More details to come....

It's J5/Little MJ remixes.

It was reported about a month ago. 5 remixes showed up on blogs all over the place around the time.

I'm kinda excited about it, cause they were pretty good.. would prefer something 'new' though

Hopefully, they will release a vol.2. To hear the J5/Little MJ remixes, does not do much for me. I wanna hear adult MJ.

Supposedly a live album is coming out alongside the documentary in October, and it will feature at least one new song. It's probably an album edited from the This Is It rehearsals. It could be good. Someone posted a fuzzy video of some kids listening to Jackson's rehearsals from outside, and taped it with a cell phone. It's barely audible, but it is authentic and there was a new intro to "The Way You Make Me Feel" that sounds really cool and jazzy.

So yeah, hopefully that comes to fruition.

This is why I placed the word "New" in quotes...This should have told you that it isn't new.

On the contrary, putting the word "new" in qoutes gave the indication that its is a new album, at least, thats how I think. lol thanks for posting anyway.

lol

Why bother paying? those are available for free legit. Motown cleared them to all these hip hop and RnB blogs. just google 'Jackson remix suite' and take your pick.

Sounds like Motown is doing what they do...fully capitalizing!

Almost right after his death "The Stripped Mixes" came out (could have been planned and just happened that way).

The other day I saw Michael Jackson "The Definitive Collection". Guess this might send the message to Sony that even though the market is fooled with hits sets, not too late for another one or ten!

The Stripped Mixes and the "Hello World" compilations were scheduled before his death. The others, I'm not so sure about. I was surprised they issued a Definitive Collection series. Especially since Universal released the Jacksons story, the Gold collection, and the Love Songs collection.

Least they waited a year or two to release posthumous tributes to Marvin.

Yeah, but 20 years ago, there were still a few morals left in the music business. Now, it's all about the dollar. Why else would Sony start manufacturing MJ shit overnight?

That's what bothers me about this shit. I refuse to buy any shit that capitalizes on a man's death. I don't care how they promote it.

It's sad, indeed. I'm not going to say I won't buy something though. If they release an album of new material, I'm running to the store to get it. lol

Are you referring to the tapes where they raided Neverland? If so, those weren't audio tapes, they were vhs tapes.
