Whitney's new album (and others) comes out Monday...Is Monday the new Tuesday?

Just wondering if for some reason they just wanted it out early and the others followed suit. All the new DVD/Blu Rays are still coming out Tuesday. Just wondering.

Grammy deadline is the 31st so everbody is rush releasing it for tomorrow...

That makes sense. I actually wish new releases are out Sundays because that's when I'm usually shopping.
