One of my favorite early-80's groups, Spandau Ballet, is back in 2009. This is video of their first reunion performance, back in April on the Jonathan Ross show.

They do 2 tracks - "Chant No. 1" and "Gold", and sound absolutely terrific. Especially "Gold" which is my favorite of theirs. Tony Hadley is still hitting all the notes and the band sounds excellent. They definitely sound fresh. Hopefully they will bring their tour to the US.

Yep, I saw that. I'm going to see them at the O2 in October, should be a good show! Saw them in the 80's when they were still a club band, and they were brilliant then, Tony Hadley's voice is incredible. Chant No.1 is my favourite

I'm very jealous!! I doubt they will tour the US, since they only had minor success here. Beyond "True", only "Gold" and "Only When You Leave" were Top 40 hits.
