A rare interview with Mike singing a Bee Gees song. He sounds as if he had cold.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

New York publishers are involved in a bidding war for the rights to a secret novel Michael Jackson wrote. It is not known when the King of Pop put pen to paper and wrote the fictional account of a rock star's struggles with money and fame at the height of his success. A source tells Essence.com the untitled book mirrors Jackson's own rise to superstardom and self-imposed seclusion. Insiders claim the late star conceptualized the plot and characters - and then worked with a collaborator on the story and accompanying illustrations. http://www.kget.com/enter...ZR0VQ.cspx Really? If so, can´t wait to read it. Me to,but I do wonder since Michael never gave it a title, what it will be called? Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

Whitney Houston Tells Oprah Michael Jackson's Death Was 'Devastating' The second portion of Whitney Houston's sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on Tuesday and, in addition to opening up more about her marriage to Bobby Brown and her issues with substance abuse, she also spoke candidly about how she reacted to the news of Michael Jackson's death. "Devastating," Houston told Winfrey. "I have so many good memories of spending time with him. I've known his family for so many years that I thought, 'It can't be true.' " Houston said that she was aware of his troubles over the years and even heard about his painkiller addiction at one point. "I knew he was on painkillers at one time ... I didn't know how far and how deep it was," she recalled. She said that performing with him at his 30th-anniversary special in 2001 opened her yes — she saw him as a "mirror" because he reflected her own problems with addictions. "I just remember doing the anniversary special and I remember looking at Michael and I remember looking at myself and I was getting scared looking at him," she said. "I was looking at myself. I don't want it to be like this. Mike and I were very close." That concert was the last time that Houston remembers seeing him, but she does note that the pair stayed in touch over the years via the phone. "I think it was that time [that I saw him last], but I spoke to him during the trial a lot. He would speak to me on the phone, but he didn't want me to see him," she said. "[It] saddens me."

I just saw the trailer for ‘This Is It’ up close in HQ on the Sony site and I couldn’t help but notice his nose looked HUGE (in comparison to his 2000’s nose of course). It must have been true that he was getting it rebuilt which I think I heard from that fat gay lover guy. Actually he said a few true things about Michael. I don’t believe for a second they were lovers (not because of the gay issue but because of the fat/ugly issue) but I do think he knew him as he also stated Michael was obsessed with the Mayans calendar prediction of 2012 which is related to what Karen Faye said was Michaels message: that we only had 4 years left to get things right in the world. In a way it makes me sad that Michael thought he had to go back to the way he used to be to please people, what with the hair, weight, nose and dance ability. He was definitely under a lot of pressure trying to live up to himself.

Michael Jackson Was Enthralled by Stevie Wonder’s Fabulous, Pulsating Sound, Says Susaye Greene
"When Stevie and I communicate, it's just magic," Susaye (above) tells us. It doesn’t necessarily take a genius to know a genius. But that was the scene back in 1976, when Stevie Wonder pitched his latest composition to Michael Jackson in hopes of having the future King of Pop record the track. Interviewed on Fresh Touch Radio, Susaye Greene, the last official member of legendary Motown girl group The Supremes, recalls how the two virtuosos had a musical meeting of minds. “Stevie came to me and said he wanted to write something for Michael,” Susaye, then in the midst of recording backup vocals for Stevie’s double album, Songs in the Key of Life, tells host Darryl Williams. “Stevie had part of the hook - ‘Can’t help it, if I wanted to,’ but he would say, ‘Llllll-ah-da, lll-yet-dee-dee-da.” You know, there weren’t any real words there. “So we just down and . . . that song came together very quickly,” Susaye says of I Can’t Help It, which she co-wrote and which would be featured on Michael’s 1979 album Off the Wall. Stevie (r) with Michael at the 1980 Grammy Awards. “One time, I went down to [Stevie's] studio and Michael was there. He and Stevie were talking about what Michael had coming up. “They had a remote studio attached to Wonderland, which was Stevie’s studio, which was parked outside. I went and sat in there, and Michael came in and sat with me. “We sat there, literally, for three hours listening to Songs in the Key of Life as it developed. “We were enthralled by this fabulous, pulsating sound that Stevie had created. “And when Stevie came out of the main studio, we all started talking. Then we hugged and Michael had to leave. “But then Stevie said, ‘He’s gonna do the song!’”

I am starting to loose my respect for him because I don´t like the way he speaks about him. Not only did he say Mike did not want to be black, but allegedly, he has also said recently that Mike was not all that talented while he kept saying he was one of the most talented people he´s ever worked with when he was alive. Lionels only contribution was the melody for the words "We are the world, we are the children" and that was it. Thanks for the picture, bboy. I adore all the pictures of Mike with his kids.
