Well I used to be pretty pissed at LMP and LaToy. I think that LMP should have kept her mouth shut about her divorce just like Michael did. But whatever. What Toy did, IMO, was worse just because Michael was her blood and she knew how it would affect him.

Lisa haas said that the reason why she didn't wanna have children was because Michael was immature and had other issues, which I think were drug related and shouldn't be surprising. But whatever. People do make mistakes and obviously they kept in touch. So they both are the only ones to know what their relationship was all about.

I think he did forgive LaToya, but he never really got over it. And contrary to popular belief, he and LaToya indeed were very close as children and young adults. I think that relationshop deteriorated when she got married.

Michael was close to all her brothers and sisters, but I do think he had a special bond with Marlon and TOy. I think he loved Janet and professionally speaking they did have a lot in common. I mean they are the most successful Jacksons after all. But on a personal level I do believe that he felt closer to LaToya. They were closer in age, and as young adults they were the only ones who were not married. And if you guys watch or read old interviews, he does mention her quite a lot. Even with Oprah he said he loved his sister and always remembered her as the "fun loving" Latoya she always was.

So I think that Toy's words were specially hurtful to him. I can't even imagine the pain of such betrayal, but he was Michael Jackson, so he forgave and turned the other cheek. Something I could possibly never do.

I feel the same way I think that her and Michael relationship was not the same since not only she got married but also when she foolish calling him a child molester. He did forgave her but I bet he was still hurted of how his own sister publicly betrayed him. I like Latoya and all but I still think it is hard to believe that Jack Gordon would force her to call Michael a child molestor.

Like i said, I'll believe it when i see it. Michael did great work in his lifetime, that's more than enough for me. I no more expect him to be spectacular than I would Elvis in his later years, (even though he put on some supernatural performances to his dying days).

All you had to do is watch the trailer. He's clearly singing live in several parts during the trailer. Either that or he re-recorded material for the tour. I'm fine either way, as long as the songs are updated.

I'm talking about vocally, he was killin the performance. This Is It is nothing but rehearsal footage, so no one should expect him to go all out.

This is an excerpt from Katherine Jackson's autobiography:

Michael usually drove himself to Kingdom Hall and his field-service routes. He’d finally gotten his driver’s license in 1981, at the age of twenty-three. Initially he didn’t want to learn to drive.

“I’ll just get a chauffeur when I want to go out,” he said when I began nagging him about getting his license.

“But suppose you’re someplace and your chauffeur gets sick?” I reasoned.

Finally, he relented and took some lessons.

After he began driving, Michael decided that he enjoyed being behind the wheel, after all. The first time he took me for a ride, he ventured up to Mulholland Drive, a winding road in the Hollywood Hills. It was a hair-raising experience.

“I’ve got a crook in my neck and my feet hurt,” LaToya, who was also in the car, complained afterward. “I was putting on the brakes’ with my feet and ‘steering’ the car with my neck trying to keep it on the road. I was so scared!”

It was white-knuckle time for me, too. Michael drove fast. He also had the same habit that I have: driving right up to the car in front and stopping on a dime.

After that, Michael started going out by himself.

“You shouldn’t go out alone,” I told him. “Get Bill Bray to go with you.”

But Michael wouldn’t hear of it. “I’m tired of having security with me every time I go someplace.”

When he began driving, Michael told me that he would never go on freeways; he thought they were too dangerous. So I was shocked one day when Michael suddenly drove us onto a freeway ramp.

“Wait a minute, Michael, what are you doing?”

“I can drive the freeways now!” he said, laughing. He had changed his mind about freeways when he saw just how long it took him to get around Los Angeles without using them.

Michael’s first car was a Mercedes. Then he bought a black Rolls-Royce, which he later painted blue.

It was in the Rolls that he was stopped one day -- not for fans outside the gate, but by a Van Nuys policeman.

“This looks like a stolen car,” the officer said. He didn’t recognise Michael, who wasn’t wearing a disguise that day.

Michael explained politely that he did, indeed, own the car. But the officer went ahead and ran a check on the car, and found that Michael had a ticket outstanding.

The next thing Michael knew, he was sitting in the Van Nuys jail.

Bill Bray bailed him out. I didn’t even know what had happened until he came home.

“You should have asked the officer what a stolen car looks like,” I said after he related his adventure. Perhaps the cop had felt that a young black man didn’t belong behind the wheel of a Rolls.

But Michael was not only put out by the experience, he professed to be happy.

“I got to see how it felt to be in jail!" he exclaimed.

Well, I'll love and respect Mike whatever the footage is like. I am not falling for any hype though, remember, these same hucksters put Michael in an early grave. I love Mike, not the money machines that stop no matter what.

You can have that take if you want, and it's always easy for us to sit out here and take shots. That's inhuman pressure, I don't think anyone could have dealt much better, I'll never forgive the assholes. Mike should have been more in touch. But why Mike? for such horrible treatment, lots of bastards in the world who live to ripe old ages with little problem, the world is run by them.

Only reason I included Mike is because everyone blames AEG for the death of Michael, but Michael was also shootin up on drugs BEFORE AEG came into play. I have no reason to be upset with AEG. I forgive them because who am I to NOT forgive?

giggle I was the exact same way when I first started driving. It took a very long time for me to feel comfortable merging onto, and driving on highways. But just like Mike, I forced myself to use them to shorten my trips, lol.

IDK. He's too skinny to me. His death could have been avoided if they forced him to rehab & did a background check on his personnel including Murray. The health exam was kind of counterproductive if he was clearly underweight and nothing was done about it.

Well, I am a man, we hold grudges unfortunately. I hate those that hurt my heroes, friends, family or even decent people I come across. Lots of unecessary shit goes on just because people are sick and have to try to dehumanize someone else. I'm convinced it will destroy humanity.

Not his weight as much as his eyes and face bothered me in his last pics. He looks skeletal, pale, ghoulish. Of course his weight was slight, but I remember in his prime he only weighed a buck o' five so that in itself doesn't mean much. The worry, the stress, the need for all the drugs did him in. It's been pretty much documented that he began drug addiction after the first episode of legal trouble.

Michael Jackson wrote a novel

New York publishers are involved in a bidding war for the rights to a secret novel Michael Jackson wrote.

It is not known when the King of Pop put pen to paper and wrote the fictional account of a rock star's struggles with money and fame at the height of his success.

A source tells Essence.com the untitled book mirrors Jackson's own rise to superstardom and self-imposed seclusion.

Insiders claim the late star conceptualized the plot and characters - and then worked with a collaborator on the story and accompanying illustrations.

Really? If so, can´t wait to read it.

'This Is It' Trailer Excites Fans
September 2009

One of the most talked-about participants of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was tragically there in absentia.

Though many people ended up talking about Kanye West, the anticipation was focused squarely on Michael Jackson, who received a tribute from Madonna, his sister Janet and an army of dancers re-enacting some of his most famous dance moves. According to reactions from fans, it was a fitting tribute.

"Madonna almost had me in tears with her speech," charchar1982 commented. "And I loved the part when [Janet] danced to 'Scream' and it looked like she was dancing with [Michael] again. My fav part of the show." She wasn't the only one who got a little choked up during the start of the show. "I am still in tears over the performance," Frances wrote. "I can only imagine that Janet needed all the strength she could get. They were so close. I'm thankful to MTV for allowing that to happen. It was a fitting tribute to MJ, since his videos did launch a whole new audience to MTV and the world." Bluestrawberry51 also appreciated Janet's effort, noting, "It was beautiful and Janet was just perfect. It was (nearly) flawless."

But the outpouring of support for Michael Jackson didn't end with the show-opening tribute. At the close of the show, MTV premiered the full trailer for the upcoming film "Michael Jackson's This Is It," which brings together performance and behind-the-scenes footage from the rehearsals for what would have been the shows that made up Michael's planned residency at the O2 arena in London. The trailer inspired similar waterworks from readers. "It's bittersweet, it's a dream," Karma commented. "It makes tears flow in my eyes, but also makes me feel proud of this man, who gave his best for his fans. He was a visionary, a loving soul and the best entertainer on earth." Sam concurred. "The trailer honestly almost made me tear up. The man was dancing like he was in his 20s ... energetic. I miss Michael very, very much."

Clearly the anticipation over "Michael Jackson's This Is It" — which opens on October 28 and will run for only two weeks — is extremely high, and based on the outpouring of emotion and support for the tribute at this year's VMAs, his legions of adoring fans still aren't quite ready to let Michael Jackson go.

It really looked scary. I saw the footage from a different angle and it just fell down with him. Just look how high he is when you look at Slash. I have never hurt my back, but I know my grandma did years ago and she´s still complaining of it hurting bad. Poor Mike.

He looks so beautiful in this video. I miss him. sad
