Michael Jackson never did reunite with his brothers for a 40th reunion tour, and his June 25 death makes a complete reunion impossible.

But now Tito, the third in line of the nine Jackson siblings, will bring "Tito Jackson and Friends" to the city "where it all began" for one night only at the Detroit Opera House on Oct. 4.

Marlon Jackson will act as host for the evening.

The concert is being billed as celebrating the Jackson 5's 40th reunion, and the 50th anniversary of Motown Records. There will be a special tribute to Michael Jackson in the set, as well.

For the past few months, Tito Jackson has been performing in Europe with Jack Ashford, who played vibes for the Funk Brothers at Motown. It was Tito who famously "borrowed" father Joe Jackson's guitar and learned to play it, earning his father's wrath, until he discovered his son could play. As part of his European show, Tito has been doing several Jackson 5 songs in homage to his late brother.

For the October show, Tito will perform several of the group's key hits, including their first Motown hits "I Want You Back" and "ABC." Those two songs were part of an unprecedented feat; the group's first four Motown singles all reached No. 1 on the charts.

"We are looking forward to returning to Detroit to perform," said Marlon Jackson in a statement. "It's the special place that changed our lives, and was the vehicle from which we gave our music to the entire world."

A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to the Motown Historical Museum in the name of Michael Jackson's Heal the World Foundation.

Havent you ever heard of Michael Hutchence? He is just one example of a white guy who naturally is brown tan. My father is very similar looking to him and I got my dads genes so I too have this skin. There are quite a few white people that when they tan are 'brown like a grocery bag' as you put it, so that is no indication the two older kids cant be white. And I dont think they're really dark anyway

Also I am taking into consideration the whole family's heritage including the fact that Joe Jackson has grey eyes. I see white kids like P& P all the time, just go to places like Italy and Spain you see white kids that look blacker than them, unless your one of those people who don't consider Italians and Spanish white.

Well, I just would like to add that Janet looked hella FINE at the funeral. When she was walking to her chair being escorted by that usher in that military coat, I was wishing I was the usher. Janet's body looked damn good, her hair was bangin', her face was cute and pretty. I was like "Damn Janet...hold on there for a second."
