Least it don't sound like the travesty I personally thought the memorial was. The funeral by comparison seems more personal and touching considering what's been reported.

I personally am 50/50 on them having Paris talk. In one side, I'm happy she spoke and in another, I think she just looked scared. But I can't really judge her uncles and aunts even though Paris in a way probably did want to speak.
Fans screaming random things during the funeral while people like Brooke Shields post.

I didn't see it but from reports about the service, those are the things that gnawed me.

As for Jermaine, that was an accident. I mean, those seem like minor things. Overall, it was pretty tasteful and at times, really moving, like Stevie's performance. Usher's too. It was sincere. People did yell things, but it was the usual like "Michael!" and stuff like that. It wasn't like a football game or something. And nobody yelled during a performance or speech. Only during the times in between artists.

You should watch it if you get a chance.

End of an era, really. Everyone has an opinion on him, and in a sad way, that was half of the great thing about him.

I've been waiting for a new album forever, especially since he gave that Access Hollywood interview back in 06. Never imagined he'd be gone before said album came out. And damn, was I looking forward to these concerts. I thought we'd be seeing those little 5 second clips of him dancing when the news talked about him making his return to the stage.

What sucks is that lots of people said "These concerts will never happen". I figured there was that slight chance he'd cancel... it just wasn't his style for things to go off without a hitch. And, sadly, the people who doubted the concerts were right.

Hopefully this upcoming movie gives us some glimpses into his genius. I just hope it wasn't a HIStory tour all over again. The clip they've showed on the news is pretty much the same version of "They Don't Care About Us" he did during the HIStory tour.

But the guitar was off the chain!
