What's going on here. The coroner's take back their call

Jackson Death Certificate: 'Injection by Another'

Posted Sep 1st 2009 7:00PM by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson's death certificate has been amended -- now listing his fatal injury as "intravenous injection by another."

The document was updated to reflect the L.A. County Coroner's report which ruled Jackson's death a homicide.

The report also showed Michael's main cause of death was "acute Propofol intoxication" and a contributing factor was the presence of mulitple anxiety and insomnia medications in his system.

And now to link it all together ... a police affidavit shows Dr. Conrad Murray told cops he injected Michael with Propofol right before he died.

Prince's hair was bleached imo because he has dark eyebrows. His current hair is his natural hair color.

And if you see his baby photos that MJ and Debbie allowed on a tabloid, it's clear his hair was black naturally. So I think as he got older and his black roots were shown, MJ allowed his son to get back to his natural color because he was outgrowing the blond hair.

^Yeah. & I hope this isn't true. His family is so triflin imo. TMZ is saying that they want the estate to pay for the burial which is basically having Michael pay for it!

But dig SD and T,...why in the hell would Michael allow his child's hair to be bleached BLOND in the first place? How old was Prince in the footage that ET had been wearing out when he was sitting up there talking to Michael? 3 years old? I know the obvious answer from everybody will be "Because Michael wanted Prince's hair to be blond." But I still ask "But why Michael, why?" lol. I'm like Bruce Lee in The Chinese Connection... "Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?".

That's the confusing part. We don't know why MJ would even allow that. That's kinda sick.

Jackson death certificate reflects homicide ruling

By ANTHONY McCARTNEY (AP) – 4 hours ago

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's death certificate has been amended to reflect his cause of death as a homicide, specifying "injection by another" as the fatal injury.

The designation was not a surprise — coroner's officials said last week that they believed Jackson's death on June 25 was a homicide.

Investigators have said a mix of the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative killed the pop singer. The new record lists "acute propofol intoxication" as the main cause of death and "benzodiazepine effect" as another significant contributor.

The public copy of Jackson's death certificate has not been changed to reflect his permanent resting place. Jackson is scheduled to be interred on Thursday evening at Forest Lawn Glendale.

The document does not mention Dr. Conrad Murray, who was Jackson's personal physician. He told detectives that he gave the singer a series of sedatives and propofol to try to help him sleep.

The coroner's determination of homicide makes it easier for prosecutors to seek criminal charges, but does not necessarily mean a crime was committed. Authorities investigating the singer's death have served search warrants in at least three states, California, Nevada and Texas.

No criminal charges have been filed over Jackson's death.

Imo it's the least they could do especially since they couldn't bury him as soon as possible like most people do. & I know that the investigators needed the body but even after wards they still didn't bury him. MJ has probably given them more than the amount the burial would cost over the years.

Evidence is Piling Up Against Dermatologist to the Stars in Jackson Death
Thursday, August 27, 2009

Dr. Arnold Klein is one of several doctors being investigated for providing Michael Jackson prescription drugs.
The heat is on for Michael Jackson's longtime friend and dermatologist Arnold Klein who investigators believe facilitated the years-long drug abuse that could have caused the death of the King of Pop.

According to the warrant and affidavit for last Friday's raid on Mickey Fine Pharmacy in Beverly Hills, Calif. investigators were searching for records of medication Klein allegedly prescribed to himself then gave to Jackson.

The return — a list of items seized during the search — was filed Thursday evening in California federal court and shows that investigators seized, "60 prescriptions, 29 patient profile print-outs, three copies of DEA Forms 222 (Order Forms) and copies of inventories of controlled substances."

Law enforcement sources told FOXNews.com that Friday's search of the Beverly Hills pharmacy yielded records of Klein prescribing controlled substances to himself.

According to the warrant for inspection and the affidavit for administrative inspection warrant, both obtained by FOXNews.com, between January 1, 2008 and July 6, 2009, Klein self-prescribed 27 controlled substances, which he filled at Mickey Fine Pharmacy and which investigators believe he gave to his friends — including Michael Jackson, who died of an apparent drug overdose on June 25.

The 60 prescriptions and 29 patient profiles were all related to the investigation into Jackson's death. The patient profiles belong to Jackson and aliases used by the star, law enforcement sources told FOXNews.com.

Investigators used the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES), a database of all schedule 2 through 4 drugs prescribed by doctors or dispensed by pharmacies or medical facilities in the state of California.

According to the affidavit: "The [CURES] report shows 27 prescriptions written by Dr. Klein in a self-prescribing capacity, specifically prescribing medication to himself, from March 2006 through May 2009. These prescriptions include the medications hydrocodone (Vicodin), modafinil (Provigil), diazepam (Valium), and injectable midazolam (Versed)."

The day after FOXNews.com reported exclusively that Klein was the subject of a criminal investigation likely to culminate in charges related to medical malpractice, Klein's criminal attorney told the DEA that the dermatologist had never self-prescribed.

Self-prescribing controlled substances is in violation of California Health & Safety Code 11170 —but it is not a criminal act.

The penalties for self-prescribing include fines and a loss of a physician's DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.

Jackson died from lethal doses of the IV anesthetic propofol — which was purchased and administered by the his personal physician Conrad Murray — but investigators believe Klein's longtime facilitation of the pop star's drug habit was so egregious that it meets the threshold of a criminal act.

Investigators believe that Klein supplied Jackson with drugs obtained improperly — by self-prescribing, writing prescriptions using the names of Jackson's many aliases or giving Jackson drugs taken from his office.

In the coming weeks, investigators will focus on obtaining more records of Klein's prescribing history.

Maybe Prince wanted bleached hair so badly? It doesn't mean MJ forced Prince or he did not want him to look "black"?

Eh, that story WAS true. I wonder if that is why they waited so long to bury him?
A judge just granted Katherine Jackson's request to have Michael's estate pay for the cost of the singer's burial.

Jeryll Cohen -- a lawyer for the special administrators of Jackson's estate -- said in court today that the expenses for Michael's burial on Thursday are "extraordinary."

But Cohen also said this isn't your run-of-the-mill burial ... and that the administrators "understand and appreciate" the scale of the event.

Jackson will be buried tomorrow in The Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

How can we even suspect Prince wanted it? He was only a baby then so it wasn't like he was like "DADDY MAKE MY HAIR BLOND!" lol

the ap version of the story states that the costs were high because 12 burial plots were being purchased altogether. i'll paste it.

so not only is it trifling that they've waited so long, but that there are a number of family members, who really should be paying for their own plots or have them already, piggybacking on mj, abusing his wealth once again. the estate administrators could say no, but i understand that they would seem like ogres if they didn't approve. they don't want the backlash. besides, it's a legitimate expense that they will charge against the estate, but which will reduce the payouts to the beneficiaries. neutral

if mj was so nervous about his kids being kidnapped or harmed to the point where he made them wear masks in public with him, is it possible that he dyed prince's hair to throw people, esp. the paps, off the scent? we rarely saw the kids growing up - way less than lourdes, and we didn't see her often, either - and perhaps it is because the paps didn't really know what they looked like, and looking at a blond prince, you wouldn't immediately think he was mj's son. just a thought.

Judge says Jackson's estate can pay for funeral
By ANTHONY McCARTNEY (AP) – 40 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's estate will pay what are being called "extraordinary" expenses for the pop singer's funeral, attorneys and a judge said Wednesday.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff authorized the current administrators of Jackson's estate to pay for Jackson's funeral and interment, which are scheduled for Thursday evening.

Attorneys for Jackson's mother, Katherine, had asked the judge to sign off on the expenses, which have not been disclosed.

No one contested who would pay the costs, but Beckloff said he had concerns about whether Jackson's estate could afford it.

Jeryll Cohen, an attorney for the administrators of Jackson's estate, said the costs will be paid. She said the debt-ridden estate has enough cash to pay for the funeral.

"The expenses are extraordinary, however, Michael Jackson was extraordinary," Cohen said.

Few details about the service have been disclosed. Cohen said during the hearing that part of the reason it was so expensive was because 12 burial spaces were being bought.

Beckloff said normally, costs of a funeral would be paid by the estate after the service. But Jackson's family couldn't afford to pay the costs upfront and wait for reimbursement.

Jackson is scheduled to be interred in a mausoleum at Forest Lawn Glendale, which is about eight miles north of downtown Los Angeles. He will be placed in the Great Mausoleum, where he'll join Hollywood legends such as Clark Gable, Jean Harlow, W.C. Fields and Red Skelton, as well as "The Last Supper Window," a life-size stained glass recreation of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece.
