Ken Bruce premiers a-Ha's "Nothing is Keeping You Here" new mix on BBC2 Though the single is not officially out in the UK till Sept 21st, it is ready and kicks ass! Great new version, vocals re-done in many places, new sounds and new instruments on it. This is what re-mixes are, not slapping some wack ass rapper on your track, or throwing some Ibiza shit beats on there.
Has the feel of "Train of Thought" at times, MAGS again is clearly the superior Keyboard Player from the 80's and on "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Original
Single Remix I'll have to spin the new mix a few times. As of right now, I prefer the original mix. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

OK, I've already warmed to the remix. Love it! "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

This is a great remix.
The problem is, I've got used to the new mix now and when the original comes on when I play the album, it sounds flat. I had the same problem when U2 released the fantastic single mix of Elevation. The album version had to go! .

I think they both work well. It's a lot like "My Own Way" by Duran Duran IMO. I prefer the original single mix, but the slower version on Rio works better in the context of the album. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
