God I miss brilliantly produced pop records LOL. Probably sounds better now then it did back when it was released due to the rather uninspired rock I hear from US (or anywhere) these days. Makes you appreciate it more LOL. I guess the criticism was its mainly the producer Desmond Childs show, but it doesn't stop it from being a great record.

Desmond Child was a beast of a producer/co-writer at times. This song (and album) being some of his best work.

The bridge is killer!

It's sooooo late-80s era MTV sounding but I like it. Nowhere near the great stuff he put out in the 70s but not bad. It's better than the song he did for Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Pt VI:

Definitely hot. He had a concert here three days ago but I didn't get to go because none wanted to come with me:(

i was listening to the "hey stupid" album in the car the other day,
it's the one he released after the "trash" album.

both of those albums are great but the "hey stupid" album has some
incredibly strong songs on it. you know, great heavy pop songs with
an actual melodic chorus that catches your attention and some hard
and gritty guitar solo's and all.
