Need help finding a song

The chorus goes "You are the One, You are the One" it is an uptempo jam-song was sung by a group-maybe late 70s, early 80s

You're welcome ! Not shure what happened to AM-FM. They were basically a Go-Go band with a few released singles.
There's a live clip on youtube from around the mid 80's. They might've continued somehow recording or performing. The Go-Go scene is still alive today.

Yeah, that's where Go-Go started and it was mainly the area where it kept going on.
I haven't checked yet if for instance Trouble Funk came originally from Washington but their early recordings were released on the NYC-based Sugar Hill label.

Yeah, i was amazed that there even excisted a video of this. Bought the single about 10 years ago. Their guitarist has somewhat a Minneapolis image going on lol.
