It could have been better if she hadn't sung in a whispering register in the first chorus, but I guess her voice is shot.  Even so, it pales compared to the original.

I'm gonna go against the general opinion and say that I really think this is a good cover of the song and I almost like it more than the original (well, time will tell). The song is a classic but it never really excited me. | |

i think it's quite ok. but when she sings the chorus and stretches

It's ok but the original version still kicks ass. Plus I don't like that she changed the tempo. I always hate that tempo unless it was used for a dance song. That was just an excuse for her to do her Minnie runs.  | |

I did not liek the first half..they should have had live drumming through the whole thing. The fingersnaps and stuff in teh beginning made it sound weaker and it picked up in the middle with the chorus and the high nites with the real drums. It faded out way too fast though.
