Rhianna does get away with it but mainly because she's covering a song by another mediocre singer IMO. Like Madonna, if she had to rely solely on her voice she'd starve. Madonna's VMA "Dangerous Liason" version stomps on this one to this very day. All that said, I'm gay and there was sequins and feathers, so duh, of course I enjoyed it. | |
