The Temptations did the original in '75. Shakey Ground was written in '74, by Eddie Hazel/Al Boyd/Jeffrey Bowen (Eddie Hazel and Billy Nelson had recently left Funkadelic, and in addition to writing, became part of the rhythm section for the Temptations album, A Song For You). ...
