Me too, but Frankie has been working hard at trying to get a tribute album released. He thinks it will bring his work to a younger generation.

I agree with him.

Maze are not like EW&F, Stevie and Marvin,,,,I need them to be on the forefront more like the aforementioned.

And while we're on the subject, its time for a new album from them mushy Mr.Beverly's caramel voice will soften the rough edges on these mad times,,,,,and please don't make it a "cover" albums either disbelief

Yeah,I'd love a new Maze album.Several months ago,Frankie appeared on a local radio station and when asked about a new album,he said that they are "working on it".Hopefully,we'll get a new album soon.

I good friend of mine is a god-child of a member of Maze. He has told her that they have about 2 albums worth of material ready to go, but they don't have their record company situation straight yet. So, I'm hoping that they get it together.

That's been the holdup. Frankie has stated that record companies have
wanted them to change who they are and Frankie has been adamant about it.
It they won't let Maze be Maze then we'll just tour.

I wonder if they are still signed to Warner? If not, then Warner may have had them in a contract that prohibits them from releasing any new material for a while.
