ADAM LAMBERT BABY! Alright, so before I get shot down by the hoards of anti "manufactured" American Idol contestant people.. i just gotta say this kid is ANYTHING but your normal AI product.
Check out his insane cover of Prince's How Come You Don't Call Me (get's reallll at 3:30 onward) Made my face really light up He is funky, he is rock n roll, he is what music needs this day in age. Seriously, I've never been so excited about a current male vocalist before. I love anything he lays his voice on, and that's saying alot considering only the likes of Prince, Axl Rose, Steven Tyler, Freddy Mercury, and Robert Plant does that for me. He's been praised by everybody from Slash to Katy Perry to Madonna to Brian May for crying out loud Check out this quote from Brian May himself talking about Adam's new song on the sound track on 2012 "I have to say I was completely blown away ... it's truly sensational. In fact it's so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding. I'm not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists ... but Adam's voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. Its an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star." I've never watched anyone come so close to Prince's sexiness on stage to the likes of Freddy Mercury's booming voice. "Not to sound cosmic, but I've made plans for the next 3,000 years," he says. "Before, it was only three days at a time."

Hellloooo, he's done channeling characters my friend. He's put theatre in the past. It's now time for Adam Lambert himself to emerge as the future of rock n roll. Just because artists wear their influences on their sleaves, doesn't mean they are not being theirselves. I'm sorry, but all I hear when he opens his mouth ARE his influences. He may be done with Broadway, but I don't believe that he is done in his search for Adam. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

For anyone interested search youtube for the AI tour vid's of Adam. Check out the last 2, Columbus & Cleveland. Whole Lotta Love, Fame, Slow Ride. Awesome!!! People go nuts. They r throwing all kinds of shit on stage. Bra's, whips, boa's. Adam plays with them & then tosses them back. Finally I get to see him next week. Finally!!! It will be worth the wait. Just remembered. He wanted to sing this song on AI but it didn't work out. For me, that would have been incredible. I loved all his songs he did, but the best were Whole Lotta Love & A Change Is Gonna Come & if he could have done this one too...
