The Pogues anyone on here a fan of the pogues?

I dont consider myself a real fan of their music (I only own their Best Of-album) but i surely recognize Shanes gifts as a singer and songwriter.
Compared to a lyric like 'Rainy Night in Soho' Princes lyrics since 1987 are like childsplay. | |

In fact, the only competition to it was 'Adore'. I prefer the lyrics to 'Adore', but 'Rainy Night...' was a favourite for both of us, so it won out. My friend is touring with Shane, and despite the fact he's completely immersed in alcohol and recreational drugs, he's still lucid and passionate about music. “If I can shoot rabbits/then I can shoot fascists” | |

Love The Pogues. My favorite album is probably Rum Sodomy n The Lash. Though I have to say that Fairytale of New York is one of my favorite songs of all time.
